Ok, so we began designing our ad campaign for the first week.
The first problem arrived in the form of payment. Our organization meant to pay the bill last week, but it isn't going to happen until tomorrow, so we will begin our campaign a day late.
When we set up our campaigns, we were a little confused as to whether we should create one campaign or many. I opted to create a seperate campaign for each seperate action we wanted the customer to commit.
Now we will have to wait and see what keywords are working for us and what we need to tweak.
Our group decided to breakdown and focus on our own seperate campaigns within our cumulative goal. My particular goal is for donations. I'm focusing mostly on broad keyword matches. I have a bad feeling about it because I thought so broadly that I chose keywords like support the UofA. I think I will have to narrow it down next week. I'm not sure what viewers will be looking for when they search such things, especially with donating in mind. I think I'm holding onto th chance that they will be users with disposable income and looking for a cause, but not knowing exactly which. We live in Arizona, so maybe an ad reminder about melanoma will make them choose skin cancer as the cause they wish to donate to.
I'm excited to see the analyitcs of the site.
On another note....Our team gave the site many helpful tips, and they seemed excited about our idea, but I don't see them implementing them in the near future. I hope they do eventually, however...
